# Channels

| Command | Purpose |
|---|---|
| `vatio whatsapp` | Print the link to WhatsApp in the inbox: the **WhatsApp** tab of the **Test** page before you publish, **Channels → WhatsApp** after. With your own number connected, also whether it is live and who the agent answers |
| `vatio whatsapp only NUMBER [NUMBER]...` | The agent answers only these numbers on your own number; everyone else's messages still reach the inbox |
| `vatio whatsapp everyone` | The agent answers everyone again |
| `vatio instagram` | The same, for Instagram |

WhatsApp and Instagram are set up in the inbox, not the CLI: connecting your
own number or account goes through Meta's consent screen, and a test phone or
test account proves it is yours by sending Vatio a code. The test phones on
the shared WhatsApp preview number and the Instagram test accounts are in the
**WhatsApp** and **Instagram** tabs of the **Test** page. Your own number and
account are connected in **Channels**, once you publish.
`vatio status` has both links, `whatsapp_url` and `instagram_url`, and
`published` says which page they lead to.

See [WhatsApp](https://vatio.ai/docs/channels/whatsapp) and [Instagram](https://vatio.ai/docs/channels/instagram) for the
steps.

## Who the agent answers

`vatio whatsapp only` replaces the list, so name every number each time, in
international format. The numbers of your
[routines](https://vatio.ai/docs/integrations/claude-routines) always count. **Channels → WhatsApp** in the inbox
shows and edits the same list, next to the **Live** switch; set it before
you switch **Live** on. See [Who the agent answers](https://vatio.ai/docs/channels/whatsapp#who-the-agent-answers).
